Terms of Use

The Provincialisation Management System (PMS) Portal is an official digital platform of the Government of Assam, developed to enable online submission, scrutiny, processing, and management of applications related to provincialisation of schools, colleges and services of teachers under applicable government rules, acts, and notifications.

By accessing or using this Portal, users agree to abide by these Terms of Use, the Information Technology Act, 2000, applicable rules thereunder, and policies issued by the Government of Assam from time to time.

Authorized users include recognized school authorities (Head of Institution and Teachers), district-level officers, directorate officials, and other government functionaries duly permitted to access the Portal.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and ensuring that all information and documents submitted are accurate, complete, and authentic.

The Government of Assam reserves the right to verify submitted data through physical inspection, departmental records, or integration with external government databases (DISE / UDISE / UDISE+).

Submission of false or misleading information may lead to rejection of applications and cancellation of benefits.

The Government shall make reasonable efforts to ensure availability of the Portal but shall not be held responsible for temporary service interruptions due to technical maintenance, system upgrades, or unforeseen circumstances.

All data submitted through the Portal shall be used strictly for official purposes and handled in accordance with applicable government data security and confidentiality guidelines.

The Government retains full ownership of the Portal, its content, and associated intellectual property.

These Terms of Use may be modified by the Government at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Portal shall constitute acceptance of the revised terms.

Any dispute shall be governed by Indian law and subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Assam.
