Provincialization of Various Educational Institutions

Guideline for Schools (LP / UP / HS)

General Requirements

  • The establishment year should be before 01-01-2006
  • In case of LP and ME Schools, the name of the school figure in the DISE code 2009-10.
  • There should be appropriate certificate to furnish for “class” permission.
  • The institution should have appropriate land possession certificate from competent authority in case of private, forest and Government land
  • There should be appropriate certificate for permission / NOC
  • In case of LP school, the minimum enrolment should be 30 and in case of sixth schedule, it should be 25
  • In case of High School, at least 30% of the candidate should appear for the final examination for a period of last 3 years and 20% for the sixth schedule areas.
  • In case of High School, at least 10 students have appeared having admit card in the last final examination in a particular subject, minimum 8 students for six schedule areas. More than 80 for additional post, and more than 150 for second post, for six schedule areas- more than 70 for additional post, and more than 140 for second post
  • In case of Higher Secondary, the minimum enrolment should be Minimum 25 in Class XII and Minimum 20 in sixth schedule areas
  • Also, in case of Higher Secondary, the pass percentage should be at least 30% of the candidate appeared for the final examination for a period of last three years and 20% for six scheduled areas

Guideline for Senior Secondary (Junior College)/Degree Colleges

General Requirements

  • The establishment year should be before 01-01-2006.
  • There should be appropriate Permission / Affiliation / Concurrence / NOC for stream and department for Senior Secondary Schools
  • The institution should have appropriate land possession certificate from competent authority in case of private, forest and Government land
  • The minimum enrolment should be Minimum 25 in Class XII and Minimum 20 in sixth schedule areas
  • The pass percentage should be at least 30% of the candidate appeared for the final examination for a period of last three years and 20% for six scheduled areas
